Instapage Review 2021 Is It Really Worth The Money?

Instapage Review 2021 How to use this Review

In this Instapage review 2021, I would like to dive deep what this landing page software does and more importantly is it right for your business.

I have included a table of contents to find any questions you may have quickly, and I would love to hear what you think of this software.

What Is Insapage?

Instapage is a cloud-based software used for building landing pages used within marketing. The brainchild of Tyson Quick, Instapage has set out to make landing page building simple and powerful.

Tyson used to work for Joyce and became frustrated because only around 3% of sales funnel traffic was converting into sales. This realization drove him into programming his sales funnel software and trying to beat the dreaded 3%.

Instapage Review Overview

At the very core of Instapage, there are the modern slick-looking templates. The coupled alongside is a potent builder. In principle, which should certainly be able to do the job, Tyson originally had in mind for Instapage. And is a good looking builder from the inside with a very smooth layout.

Now I am certainly not saying Instapage is cheap. It is up the higher end of the pricing structure, but don’t let that put you off after all Instapage is built to convert. But is it worth the extra cash?

Within this Instapage review, we will undoubtedly find out.

Hosted in the cloud so as not to take up valuable space within your computer. Instapage certainly looks the part, and its servers are good meaning that there is no hanging around to see your work take effect.

Instapage has targeted both newbies who may not already have a web presence and the more seasoned user. Making it possible for anybody to produce landing pages that are focused on not only generating more leads but also creating more conversions

Coding and design experience isn’t needed as Instapage has gone out of their way to bring a minimal learning curve into the dashboard. That works well with anything you are maybe trying to promote.

Instapage Features

Instapage has gone with many features that you would often have to pay extra for. The heatmap (which although builderall features a heat map, this one work), very comprehensive analytics, and of course, A/B split testing.

It is only fair that we go into a few of these features in a little more detail to give you a complete overview. As with the high price, you need to know what it is that you are paying for.

  • Easy to use landing page builder
  • Excellent range of templates
  • Good range of widgets
  • Perfect form builder
  • Broad integration
  • Tracking and reporting
  • Hosting

With everything listed above, it is easy to see why Instapage looks like such a mighty builder. Each feature seems to have been very well thought out, with conversions in mind at all times.

Instapage Templates

I wasn’t able to find the advertised 200+ templates that Instapage had advertised. However, I was able to find an awful lot of great templates that would serve very well.

The landing pages are very well represented, easy to customize, and designed to a too-high standard. A sound previews system is in place so that you do not need to bother with a template that wouldn’t fit your purpose. The search filter works well in narrowing down what is the best choice.

However, you aren’t tied into using a landing page, and Instapage works just as well if you are starting from a blank template.

Instapage Drag And Drop Editor

With what seems like every page builder having their own idea of what a drag and drop builder should be Instapage have done the same. Still, where some of these builders seem to add confusion to the designer, it is nice to see that Instapage works in a systematic way that is easy to understand and learn.

Freedom to express yourself isn’t held back at all within the builder, and it positively encourages you to go for more.

Unlike WordPress builders, you have complete freedom to position anything however and where ever you would like within the page, with the minimal amount of fuss.

Rather than a grid, Instapage uses a column and row system. With the ability to also use layers so you really can do almost anything in there.

If you are anything like me, this freedom can be quickly abused and a page messed up. However, Instapage displays markers and various grid so that everything can be lined up.

Also for any perfectionists out there. Every item that you move has a handy tool that shows the distances around them. This means that even though you are free to make your page however you want then guidance is there should you feel the need to use it.

Although you can preview your page at any time, I found that the what you see is what you get drag and drop builder is more than good enough for proof anything that you may want to build.

Customization is also straightforward through the interface. Every element has tools built around it and custom controls for each component.

The edit button displayed with the element gives you further enhancements, and more advanced choices than the floating toolbar.

Instablocks

Suppose you have worked with groovefunnels before this feature will be well known to you and is a huge time saver. When you have created an asset, this can be saved and reused, into any of your pages.

The instablocks work particularly well when used as headers and footers to help you have congruency throughout your funnel or website. And of course, Instapage has a whole host of templates to start your instablocks.

Instapage Widgets

Instapage comes with a vast range of widgets to help with your conversions. Adding is as simple as drag and drop to the required area.

Once your widget is dropped into place, it can be freely moved and various actions defined to the widget.

It shows how well made Instapage when even though there is an excellent choice in widgets. They are possibly the weakest aspect of it.

Only when the widget functions are compared to Elementor or Beaver Builder can these weaknesses be seen.

Some of the widgets included are

  • Headlines
  • Paragraphs
  • Forms
  • Images
  • Videos
  • Boxes
  • Circles
  • Vertical and Horizontal lines
  • Timers
  • HTML widgets
  • Buttons

Instapage is missing pricing tables. It can be built using various other widgets, but are worth saving if it is a regular item you might need.

There are some pre-made templates, within the page templates, but transferring them onto a building page is not as easy as possible.

Mobile Ready

With mobile-ready webpages becoming more critical, it is good to see that Instapage has considered this. All pages within the templates are ready-made mobile-friendly, and there is also a checking tool to tweak your designs to work well.

This doesn’t mean that you can make two completely different pages for computer and mobile. You can still make certain elements to hide in mobile or tablet view depending on where your visitor is viewing.

Publishing Your Instapage

Once everything is created, then you have several choices on how you would like to publish.

This is very helpful, particularly if you already have a site and want to add sales funnels and landing pages.

  • Publishing it on a WordPress website via a free plugin.
  • Publishing it on a Drupal website
  • Publishing it on your domain

You could always use the demo domain that Instapage supplies. However, this isn’t recommended as branding would suffer.

Page sharing is also readily available within Instapage, making it simple to sell your designs or get work done for you.

Instapage Intergration

Instapage connects well to a wide range of third party software, Including email marketing services. (getresponse is recommended), but others connect just as well, webinar providers, and analytic tools.

Instapage can also be connected to Shopify, which will take care of your eCommerce, and full PayPal integration is also included.

And of course, zapier is also very easy to set up giving hundreds of other apps access.

Instapage Other Features

Added to the features that have already been listed. Instapage keeps giving, with its features and there are too many to go through.

However, a few more of interest are

  • Project collaboration, multiple users can work on the same account and record of communication and changes has been made.
  • Google AdWords integration.
  • Library of online documentation to help you to get the most out of Instapage.
  • Google AMP landing pages.

Is Instapage Free

Although not free Instapage does have a very generous 14-day trial, which is best used to fully get a flavour of the landing page builder yourself.

However, you need to enter your payment details, but these can be cancelled if the software isn’t for you.

Instapage Pricing

There are two pricing options on Instapage: business and custom, both of which offer an excellent service, but are a little pricy compared to some.

Instapage Pros and Cons

Instapage is undoubtedly a powerful landing page creation and lead generation tool, but is it right for you?

Pros

  • Easy to deliver files and sell
  • Excellent templates
  • Advanced landing page builder
  • Good reporting
  • Team collaboration.

Cons

  • Expensive
  • Fewer templates than Leadpages

So Is Instapage Right For You

Instapage is a potent landing page builder with a great support network built around it, and it will serve you very well.

The starter templates make it very easy to get started and excel. And I love the fact of the WordPress integration which will undoubtedly help for organic traffic.

But it is just as easy if you just wanted to host independently.

Selling is slightly limited, and with my experience of PayPal, I would like a better payment integration system.

The pricetag does scare me a little as there are cheaper options out there. If money is no object, then perhaps it is right for you, or if you have a team that needs to be working on a particular project, then Instapage could be perfect.

However, if you feel like you’re ready for one of the best landing page around, then Instapage should be on your shortlist.
